 Life+Gear stands behind all of our products, wherever sold.  Warranty coverage varies by product and region, so read up and let us know if we can do better.

 Our US  Warranty programs offers a full guarantee against defects in construction or materials for 1 year  on all Life+Gear products.  Simply tell us what's wrong the covered product, and send it back to us.  We'll verify the problem and repair it or send you a new version.  And we cover the shipping (USA only).

 Supported products include Life+Gear's Fire Safety Night Lights.

 Life+Gear offers a 1-Year Warranty Program excluding bulbs and batteries.

Battery Replacement Program

The free battery replacement plan has changed.  Previously the plan was to offer the batteries for free and then charge $4.99 for shipping and handling.

Dorcy International has purchased LifeGear Inc and instead of continuing with the current plan we have decided to enhance it to help our customers.

 The LR44 batteries are now available on the website for $2.00 (3 Pack) with free shipping.

Life+Gear Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I purchase replacement parts for my Life+Gear flashlight?

Life+Gear does not offer replacement parts at this time, please contact customer service for replacement of your defective flashlight.

  1. Does Life+Gear offer a lifetime warranty?

No, all of our products have a one year warranty, excluding bulbs and batteries.  If you purchased your Life+Gear product with the promise of a lifetime warranty, please contact our customer service department for further information.

  1. What should I do if my flashlight is defective?

If your Life+Gear flashlight is not functioning properly, please contact our customer service department for further information on replacement of your flashlight through our RMA process.

  1. What is the return process for Life+Gear products?

If you have an item that you need replaced, please contact our customer service department.  You will be asked for information regarding the flashlight you want to return as well as your return shipping information.  You will be provided with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and given the necessary information to proceed with your return.  Once the returned product is received by our customer service department, we will promptly ship your replacement.  If you have supplied us with an email address, you will receive notification of shipment as well as the tracking number associated with your replacement.

  1. How do I change the batteries in my Life+Gear flashlight?

We are currently in the process of uploading instructions on how to properly change the batteries in your Life+Gear flashlight, in the meantime please feel free to contact our customer service department for instruction.  If you are unsure about which model you have, you can upload a picture of your flashlight and attach it to your email.

  1. I placed an order online and received the wrong item, what should I do now?

Please contact our customer service department with your order number and we will arrange an immediate shipment of your correct order.

  1. I would like to purchase a large quantity of flashlights, how should I proceed?

If you are interested in setting up a business account with us or just have a singular large order, please contact our sales department for pricing and other information.

  1. I placed an order online, how long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Once you place an order online, your order will be shipped by the next business day.  Your order will be delivered dependent upon the method of shipping selected at checkout. 

  1. What can I do to prolong the life of my new Life+Gear flashlight?

To prevent corrosion and possible leakage, we strongly suggest that you store your flashlight, when not in use, without the batteries contained inside, this will extend the life of your flashlight as well as your batteries, as they tend to discharge over time even without usage.

10.  My Life+Gear flashlight has a sticker on it that says “free replacement batteries”, how do I obtain my free batteries?
